TDP candidate files nomination for Ramachandrapuram

Rajahmundry (AP), May 21 : Two poll aspirants, including one from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today filed their nomination papers for the Ramachandrapuram (SC) constituency in East Godavari district today.

TDP candidate Chikkala Ramachandra Rao (63) and another candidate Katta Suryanarnaya filed their nominations, returning officer K Subba Rao said adding that they deposited Rs 10,000 each.

Congress Candidate Thota Thrimurthuly had already filed his nomination, while YSR congress candidate P Subash Chandra Bose filed his candidature for the ensuing bye-poll.

The bye-election was necessitated following the disqualification a Congress candidate in the state Assembly, loyal to YSR Congress party chief and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
